Mia and Tony started dating in the beginning of 2021 during Covid. After finding out their birthdays were only weeks apart, Mia suggested they go Whale watching as a birthday date. Tony, unbeknownst to Mia, was extremely afraid of the open Ocean, and had terrible motion sickness, particularly on boats. On their way to the Oceanside Harbour to go on their adventure, Tony stopped at the CVS to get some medication and confessed to Mia about his fear of the Ocean. He then followed up by saying, "Mexicans can't get anxiety though so it should be fine." He was right too, they had a great time, one they won't forget.

Tony snagged free front row tickets to a Padre's game. Neither of us watch baseball, but we can confirm Tatis Jr. does have a nice ass.

Tony and his family introduced Mia to their love for theme parks, its become a semi-annual tradition around Halloween time.

Mia brought Tony home to Sacramento for the first time. Her friends from back home knew this was serious since they had never met anyone prior to this. They did end up getting Covid on this exact day, and ended up isolating in a room at Mia's parents house. When they got home they were still in isolation at Mia's apartment. After spending two weeks isolated and sick together they both knew it was long-haul.

Tony graduated from his X-ray Tech program in 2023! This was a huge moment. After working long hours at his internship, and then going striaght to his other two jobs after that, Tony had achieved obtaining his degree.

Marz Wedding 2023! Tony and Mia attended their first wedding together. Mia was a bridesmaid in her friend Maia's wedding, who is now in her wedding party as well.

Mia graduated from college in 2024! After convincing Mia to finish her degree, Tony's support during the long nights of essays and projects made the time fly by.

Mia and Tony were on a trip to Monterey Bay Aquarium for Mia's birthday. Mia had a clear plan that after the aquarium she wanted to go to the tidepools afterwards. With this in mind she came out wearing leggings and a sweatshirt and crocs. Tony was insistent that she should wear something a bit nicer, and Mia reluctantly changed into some nicer jeans, a nicer jacket and better shoes. Later that day, at the beach Tony was fixated on going to a certain spot that another couple was in; Mia was preocupied knee deep in the water looking at sea creatures, naturally. The couple finally left, and Tony rushed to get Mia over to his intended spot, to which she was then already walking back into the water, completely distracted. Tony, laughing, had her get back out of the water, and quickly got down on one knee and before he could even say anything Mia yelled "Oh my god are we engaged?!" to which Tony replied laughing "If you let me ask you! Mia Simin will you marry me?" And the rest is history.

Joshua Tree Trip October, 2025. Joshua Tree was Mia and Tony's first trip as a new couple back in 2021, it'll always have a special place in their hearts.

Oaxaca Trip 2026; spent Mia's birthday and a year of being engaged in Monte Albán.
